I forgot to make a Paratrooper/PDW variant.

Much like the P90, it's designed for Paratroopers, vehicle crews, operators of crew-served weapons, support personnel, special forces and counter-terrorist groups.

Made on PMG 0.7

Unfortunately, it's based on the AUG rifle. Doctornoob (the website creator) hasn't posted the Tavor on 0.7 :((yet!)

When he does, lookout!

If you want some of my Tavor based weapons, here they are:

Sure..actually, I should have said; 'robust'. In any case it's a solid design.

Looks like a Steyr AUG meets the XM25, what with the huge barrel and all

It's supposed to be close to a laser PDW in size and power.

But if it's a laser then why would it need a magazine? Or is it a power cell?

Think of it as an energy clip. It gives you portability and a finite number of shots. As you need more, you change clips.

Oh okay, but still I'd imagine an energy clip looking a lot different than an ammo clip. But it's alright, you were working with PMG after all. But I guess it could pass for an energy cell, what with its straight (rather than curved and much more "magazine-like")shape and all.

Energy clips can be any shape. I usually have them look like regular clips, my e-cannisters on some weapons, or whatever feels right.

Look at stuff like Star Wars or Star Trek, especially their games. We don't usually see the weapon sources, but they are there. Don't play the games, fine. In ST V, there is a scene where one of Kirk's security team is popping in a clip into the hand phaser. How many times did we used to hear, "Phaser banks are tapped out/drained/etc?"

Look at sci-fi role playing games. They use energy beam hand weapons and some sort of limited shot power sources.

I made it as compact as I could without using the 9mm Para's gear. I'm thinking it could be a companion to [link]

Traditionally, I design them to be lasers. The focusing crystals are in the barrel.
