A little song my wife made up for our puppy years ago.
Last night we had to assist him crossing the Rainbow Bridge. Towards the end of his life, his trachea was collapsing and couldn't catch his breath, he was limping every time I would take him out, and it looked like the onset of pet dementia was setting in. When he collapsed three times in two days, we knew we had to let him go.
This is my eulogy for him:
