please, please tell me that sight mount is hollow so you can use the iron sights in an emergency (think kinda like a warsaw AK optic) =D

It's a reflex site that's detachable.  I envisioned the piece it's attached to is uniquely designed to have a special type of mounting system to allow older fashion alignment sites to work without impediment...

i can't into complicated english... anyways, this is what i meant:


see? if you look "under" the sight mount, you can still use the iron sights. this might come in handy in case your optic breaks for wathever reason - it's not that easy to remove an optic from a picatinny rail, specially when there is an iron sight mounted in the end of it, and you're in combat.

Basically.  When I use it, I envision it to be a sides mount with the center clear enough not to interfere with iron sights.
